Truths and Misconceptions

Misconception: Vampires will burst into flame if they enter the sunlight.

Truth: Vampires may be light-sensitive, but sunlight does not kill. It just annoys.

Misconception: Vampires are repelled by garlic, holy water, and crosses.

Truth: This is silly. Of course not. I love garlic, and the effect of holy water and crosses is pure myth.

Misconception: Vampires can turn into bats (or vampires can fly).

Truth: That would be amazing, but sadly, no.

Misconception: Vampires are evil creatures without a conscience.

Truth: Vampires have a darkness within that we embrace as a part of our nature, but we have as much of a chance of being a good or bad person as does everyone else.

Misconception: Vampires aren't real...

Truth: Vampires are very real. We may not live up to our fictional counterparts (as I've just demonstrated), but we are very real, and we are everywhere.
